Keeping Kids Safe, Inc. is a private non-profit foster care agency that is licensed by the state of Ohio. Keeping Kids Safe is devoted to providing safe and loving foster homes for children. We are dedicated to model and teach Christian values and morals while empowering children to thrive emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically.

Services include:

  • Family Foster Home

  • Treatment Foster Home

  • Emergency Placements

  • Independent Living Skills

  • On Call Phone- 24 hours / 7 days support

  • Respite

  • Treatment Team Meetings

  • Weekly Visits

  • Per Diem (financial assistance)

  • Medical & dental care covered for foster child

  • Ongoing training available

Children's Mentoring Connection of Hancock County

CMC provides a professionally monitored mentoring program for boys and girls, primarily from single parent families. It is our vision that every qualified child, needing services will be actively engaged in a mentoring relationship designed to enhance their personal growth as competent, caring and confident individuals.

Hancock Literacy's mission is: "To coordinate and support community initiatives that promote lifelong literacy." Their programs include Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Family Literacy Nights, Parent Partner Videos, Tell-A-Tale, and the Community Books Program.
